Sand Tiger shark at the New England Aquarium, Boston Waterfront. This Sand Tiger shark is a replica of several that live and swim in the aquarium's large tank. Sand Tiger sharks are slow swimmers, so they do well in the large tank.

Size: 6 tons of ice, 45 blocks

Climate: Completed in studio freezer and assembled on site. Weather not an issue.

Size: 150 blocks 20 tons, 20 feet high, 65 feet wide.

Climate: Good cold weather, one day of heavy rain.

A panoramic view of Saturn and the stars beyond.

Size: 250 blocks 35 tons, 32 feet high, 64 feet wide.

Climate: 3 days of warm and sunny weather, 65 degrees.

"Stampede"

Mustangs of the Wild West.

Size: 100 blocks.

Climate: Mostly cold with 2 days warm weather in the low 40's.

"Whale Pods"

Five life-size Humpback Whales, with schools of fish, dolphins and seaweed.

Size: 110 blocks, 11 tons, 32 feet tall 52 feet wide sculpted in relief.

Climate: Perfect, very cold

"Dolphinesque"

Brew Moon, Saugus Mass, 1997

Remake of the 1993 piece, one of my favorites: Neptune surging sixty life-size dolphins on gale winds and a quarter moon.

Size: 14 tons, 28 feet high, 52 feet wide.

Climate: Perfect! very cold for six days of sculpting.

Climate: Blinding two day blizzard, drizzle on First Night.
